Janette “Jan” May Moon, 86, of Hilo died April 13 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in New Concord, Ohio, she was a silk artist, author, illustrator, conservation activist and charter member of Sierra Club Moku Loa Group.
